Use Follow me, map layers and saved areas
Keep the map useful while working a neighborhood.
Before you start
Enable location access on your device. Operate the app only while parked or as a passenger.
Follow these steps
Choose Satellite to inspect roofs, Map for a street view of the neighborhood, or Lite when imagery is difficult to load.
Tap Follow me to let the map follow your device location. Give the device time to obtain an accurate position.
If you move or rotate the map yourself, follow mode may stop. Tap Follow me again when you want it to follow.
While online, frame the neighborhood and use Save map before you expect weak service.
When you reconnect, review any offline queue or pending work and confirm it reached the server.
You understand whether the map is following you and which area is saved.
If something looks wrong
- The location dot is wrong? Check device permission and try outdoors before placing a pin.
- Grey tiles? Try Lite, confirm connectivity and reopen the saved area.

Check the address first
Open Look up a house and type the complete address. Check whether your company already has the property before creating another pin.
Return to saved houses
Pinned houses brings your property records together. Search by address and use the available filters to find the house you need.
Check the estimate
Review the property address, product, roof size, pitch and estimate. A measurement or rate-card error should be corrected before anything is sent to a homeowner.
Working a larger list?
Import addresses lets you send a named list to QwikQuote for review. Check the list first and explain the pieces you want in the note. Sending is not mailing.
