Stop a piece before it goes to the printer
Avoid mailing a property you no longer want to contact.
Before you start
First check whether the piece is still waiting or is already with the printer.
Follow these steps
Open the house and review its current mail line.
For a piece that has not been handed off, use the available do-not-mail or cancellation action. In Queue & Batches, select the waiting pieces and use Cancel selected where available.
Read the confirmation so you know which piece or action is being cancelled.
Refresh the house and queue to confirm it is no longer scheduled to go out.
If the piece is already with the printer, contact QwikQuote with the address and run reference immediately.
You confirm the app accepted the cancellation while it was still possible.
If something looks wrong
- No cancel control? The piece may have progressed beyond cancellation or your role may not permit it.
- Do not delete a property merely to try to recall physical mail.

Read the piece status
Review orders shows each house and its current mailing state. Ready to mail, Held, Waiting for your release and Sent to printer each mean something different.
Fix the named hold
Open Queue and Batches. Read the hold reason and follow its fix button. Paying for credits will not fix a missing logo or a design awaiting review.
Release deliberately
Houses pinned during setup wait for your say-so. Select only the houses you intend to mail, review the count and account cost, then confirm the release.
Check what actually happened
Mailed is the history of recorded mailing. It is not proof of delivery to a particular mailbox. Self-print customers must print and post their pieces themselves.
