Set products, pitch bands and your own prices
Make estimates reflect your business’s products and rates.
Before you start
Only a company administrator should change the company’s rate card.
Follow these steps
Under Products you sell, select what you offer and deselect what you do not. Deselecting keeps the saved rates without offering that product.
Choose Default material for pins where a rep does not choose a material.
Expand each selected product. Review its pitch bands and enter the price per square for each automatic band. One square is 100 square feet.
Select Manual quote for bands you want to inspect and price yourself instead of returning an automatic price.
Review waste, minimum job and any financing fields that apply to that product.
Select Save pricing. Wait for confirmation and review a sample estimate before using the rates with customers.
New quotes use the saved product and pitch-band configuration.
If something looks wrong
- Cannot finish setup? A selected product may still have a blank automatic band. Price it, mark it manual, or deselect the product if you do not sell it.
- An estimate seems wrong? Check product, pitch, measured area, waste and minimum job before changing the whole rate card.

Offer what you sell
Open Company settings, then Pricing. Select the products your company offers. Deselect products you do not sell instead of setting their prices to zero.
Review each pitch band
Choose the default material. Expand each offered product and review its price per square by roof pitch. One square is one hundred square feet.
Make the rates yours
Review waste, the minimum job and applicable financing. A custom product copies a starting configuration, so check those numbers before using them.
Save and check
Press Save pricing and wait for confirmation. Then inspect a sample estimate. The prices you charge homeowners are separate from your QwikQuote account charges.
