The job, start to finish

Type the address into the search bar. That is the whole first step. The house is pinned, measured, priced and looked up in one motion: the roof, the number, the Homeowner Finder's names, phones and emails, the property's own record (built, beds, last sale, the roof on file), and three years of hail and wind at that address. Contact data comes from records and is never guaranteed correct, so what a homeowner tells you in person always wins. On the map, a tap on a roof does the same. Zoomed too far out, taps only move the map and a Zoom in to pin notice appears: a wrong tap is a real letter to a real address.
Driving a neighborhood? Tap Follow me. The map tracks the truck and turns with it, like a navigation app, so houses come to you and you pin them as you pass. Drag the map and it stops chasing; the location button picks the following back up.
Read the pitch, then the price. Pitch is the one number worth your eyes. Everything else follows from it. Wrong? Change it in the dropdown and hit Recalculate.
Square count look off? Type the right one. You are standing there and the software is not. Your number wins, and the whole quote rebuilds around it.
Deliver it, three ways. Email the PDF while you are on the porch · download and hand it over · or order the mailer, and it goes out with the week's batch on QwikQuote's printer or your company's own, whichever your Mail setup says.

On the map

Satellite / Map / Lite: Lite is the one that saves you. Plain road map, much smaller tiles, and it still draws when you are down to one bar and satellite has given up.
The location button: Follows the truck as you drive. Drag the map and it stops chasing you until you tap it again.
Search: The fastest way to quote. Type an address and it is pinned, measured and priced where you stand. A lead that came in over the phone is a finished estimate before the call ends.
Colours on the pins: They track the stage: pinned, quoted, mailed, responded. The legend on the map says which is which.
Same house, twice: QwikQuote refuses a second pin on an address or a roof somebody already did. Two letters to one mailbox reads as spam and you pay for both.
Storms: Hail and wind events land on the Storms screen on their own, and any address can be searched there for three years of history. Set the radius wider than the reported track. The damage rarely stops where the report does.

Worth knowing

Verify the homeowner: Got a name at the door, or reached the right person on a call? Save it (or tap right person) and that name goes to the top of the list and onto the mail - a piece already queued re-prints itself with the name before it ships.
Printing your own mail: If your company prints in-house, the day's pieces wait under Queue & Batches → Print it yourself: one combined PDF in stuffing order plus the address list. Print, stuff, post, then press Printed & posted and every house flips to Mailed.
Your prices: Settings → Pricing. The number you set at signup is a starting point; every band, material and accessory rate is yours to change.
Your crew: Team → invite. Each rep gets their own login, an email saying it exists, and a spot on the leaderboard.
Your password: Tap your name at the top of the menu to change it. Locked out? The Forgot password link on the sign-in screen emails you a reset link that works once and expires in an hour.
Sharing a screen: The address bar follows you: copy the link on any screen and text it to whoever needs to see it. They sign in and land exactly there.

Put it on your home screen It runs as a real app once you do: full screen, no address bar, and you stay signed in.
iPhone: open qwik-quote.com in Safari, tap the Share button (the square with the arrow out of the top), scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add. It has to be Safari; Chrome on an iPhone cannot do it.
Android: open it in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, tap Install app (or Add to Home screen) and confirm.
Inside the app it is under Menu → Add to home screen any time.

Before your first batch mails Connect a bank account under Billing and sign the debit authorization. Everything else works without it. You can pin, measure, price, email and hand over a PDF, but nothing goes to the printer until that is done.

When something looks wrong

The map is grey squares: Signal. Tap Lite. Streets you have already worked stay on screen even with no service at all, because they are held on the phone.
The dot says you are across the parking lot: The phone is unsure and says so. Give it a few seconds outdoors; the app will not move the map for a fix it does not trust.
The measurement is clearly not that roof: Type the square count you know is right. If the highlight is on the wrong building entirely, trace it by hand from the pin panel.
A price you would never quote: Check the pitch first, then Settings → Pricing. Nine times in ten it is a rate card that still has our starting numbers in it.
